HERMES 2000 PORTABLE TYPEWRITER WITH ACCESSORIES A medium-sized portable typewriter made in Switzerland between 1951-52. Serial number: 2034683 It is very well constructed, reliable and heavy typewriter. The machine has been tested, works very well, is clean and ready for use. Typing action is nice and smooth and the font clear. It seems to have PICA typeface 10 CPI (S6 on its typeslugs). Rubber feet were deteriorated and have been replaced with new non-marking once. Complete with carrying case (its condition is not perfect), new ribbon on metal spools, 2 original Hermes cleaning brushes, vintage guarantee card and invoice from 1952. We can also print a copy of manual if you are not familiar with this model -margin stops, carriage lock and some other features work a bit different to most portable typewriters.
