SMITH-CORONA STERLING VINTAGE TYPEWRITER WITH CASE A medium-sized portable typewriter made in U.S.A. This seems to be an early example from the 1949. Serial number: 5A 122028 X Basket shift mechanism. PICA typeface (10 CPI). This is a rare example with Brazilian/Portuguese keyboard with additional diacritics: - acute accent - circumflex accent - grave accent - tilde - cedilla There are some age and use related wear, mainly to the paintwork. The typewriter is clean and in very good working order, typing is smooth and easy. Complete with carrying case and working ribbon on beautiful metal spools.
